I don't like the fact that I felt forced to stop using the naive Notes app because of all this. I actually ended up switching to a different app because of the annoyances and more importantly, because I was loosing some of the text added to the Notes. I had selected the "local" option no account syncing, and even then it kept doing it. The other bug is that in the first iteration of iOS4 there used to be an option to set the account to sync your Notes (couldn't find it after upgrading to 4.1 (? latest). Don't get me wrong, I appreciate the feature (even if it doesn't fit me), but I find annoying that it was forced on me without asking me first.
